Bob Witz, a fixture of New York City art social scene of the 60-70s, was himself a “ferociously independent” painter, sculptor and poet until his death in 2021. This documentary, created by friends Paul Lemarre and Melissa P. Wolf draws a portrait of who he was and how he is remembered today. This 40 minute short also explores the many aspects of his voluminous artistic output. I composed and curated the music for this piece, and before that, did all the sound design and mixed the film for theatrical and online venues. The film has won a few laurels on the festival circuit this year as it emerged as a completed film. - Serge
